Face of the crowd

We see people. We see ourselves. We see people happy. We see people sad.
When we see people in a crowded place, we observe randomly mixed emotions. Stories flow and get changed every moment.
Is there any consistent pattern that exists?

With the ever changing face of the crowd, how can we imagine uniqueness? Moods are changing, movements are changing, every aspects of change is dragging us to new and newer stories. Where is the start and where is the end of it all? Can we have one identity, one face, one name of the crowd?
See the crowd in a busy airport, scattered everywhere, reflecting, deflecting and next moment there is an announcement that the one specific flight is boarding and all on a sudden one portion of the crowd queues up and proceeds towards the boarding gate. We get a name of that crowd, ‘passengers of that x flight’. Amazing change, we find a name with a common purpose.
Just imagine a crowd with a common purpose. We name the crowd by its purpose. Is there any face behind the name? How it looks like? If we can see the face of the crowd, name of the crowd will it be known to us?
Maybe some people are there who can see the face of the crowd, make friendship. Maybe that’s why crowds get mesmerised by some people. All the entities start behaving like one. The crowd  gets absorbed with a common purpose, not by the mere boarding announcement, but by a greater call.

Can we see the face of the crowd?

Stay curious.
